We are a community hub in Stansted Mountfitchet, Essex. We are based at Crafton Green, right next door to the Library and the Crafton Green car park. We have a welcoming community café every Thursday and Friday, and a community garden that is open every day. As a community hub, people can access help and support from our partner organisations, join clubs and interest groups, and share their skills with others if they would like.
At the heart of our centre is the TouchPoint Stansted Café. Alongside this, we make full use of this wonderful community building by running regular activities including walking groups, financial advice clinics, digital skills support, free breakfast club,community support groups and employment advice – to name but a few! We are also lucky to have a wonderful community garden, which will be cared for entirely by volunteers. It’s a tranquil spot, perfect to relax and unwind in, and is open to all to enjoy.
We also run six weekly community food shares at three different locations distributing surplus supermarket food for free. These are open to everyone in the community, please see our website or social media for the most up to date timetable.
The TouchPoint Community Café is open every Thursday from 11am to 5pm, and every Friday from 10am to 12pm, and is a welcoming place to catch up with friends and relax. We serve a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks, with hot food available on Thursdays between 12.30pm and 2.30pm. Tea, coffee and squash are FREE, and cakes and snacks are available to buy. We also have a ‘Pay it Forward’ donation box if you would like to make a contribution.

TouchPoint Teatime
A free hot meal for children and their parents or carers – it’s for all pre-school and school-aged children and the food is child-friendly. We also offer some activities like crafting and boardgames.
It runs from 3.00pm to 5.30pm on Thursdays.
