Welcome to Pam’s Place

We are a Charitable Incorporated Organisation set up to benefit all the residents of Thaxted and the surrounding area.

We provide a building which can be used by everyone for many different uses.

Our flexible space and well equipped kitchen can be used for meetings, parties, small or large group gatherings, private and public events. The kitchen is available for a cup of tea or a fully catered banquet and anything in between.

Activities as Pam’s Place:

Mondays 

9.30am – BUMP TO BABY: Are you a new or expectant mum looking to connect with others on the same journey, build lifelong friendships, share joys & challenges, create a supportive network? Join us every

11am – 6pm COMMUNITY CAFE: Everyone welcome! Pop in every Monday for tea and meet friends old and new. There are no set fees all we ask is a small donation (pay what you can manage). We also accept vouchers, for more information on this contact 07365 376899.#

Tuesdays

10.00am – PILATES Pilates class, all levels welcome, all equipment provided – Booking LINK here.

11am – CHAIR-BASED EXERCISE – Suitable for everyone.

2 – 4.30pm – THREADS – Friendly, happy, chatty, group of people that knit, crochet, or sew. With a mix of knowledge and experience in all these crafts they are happy to help with all sorts of projects. You will be very welcome whether you are a beginner or experienced. The group gather weekly and share their love of creativity!

Wednesdays

12.30 – 2pm – LUNCH: Everyone welcome – two course meal with tea/coffee £10 per person. Bookings only, contact 07365 376899 to reserve your place.

7.30 – 9.30pm: LECTURE SOCIETY – See notice board for more information.

Thursdays

ALZHEIMER / DEMENTIA LUNCH: Two course meal with tea/coffee, £10 per person. Bookings only, contact 07365 376899.

Fridays 

10 – 1pm – DROP-IN CAFÉ – Cakes and company.

2 – 4pm – SEWING GROUP- Perfect if you are looking for a more peaceful place with the company of friendly and creative sewers who are happy to help if you need a little advice.

We also offer a fabulous space for private parties with our fully furnished kitchen.
