St Clare Hospice is a local charity and each year we care for hundreds of people across West Essex and the East Hertfordshire border. We provide free, compassionate care and support to adults who are living with a life-limiting illness, facing the end of life or experiencing bereavement.
GriefLine
GriefLine (01279 945089) is a local resource offering emotional support across West Essex and East Herts to anyone struggling with their grief around the loss of someone.
Bereavement Support Line: 01279 967670 – 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
Bereavement Café – The aim is to connect people together and to support each other through grief. Here you can speak about your experiences, ask questions, gain resources and meet new friends.
In person – St Clare’s Hospice, Hastingwood Road, Hastingwood CM17 9JX – Every Friday 2pm – 4pm
Hemnall Street Social Club, Epping, CM16 4LS – Every Monday 10am – 11:30am
Old Park Meadow – Old Park Meadow Natural Burial Ground, Coppice Lane, North End, Nr Great Dunmow CM6 3PL – The third Wednesday of the month 10am – 11:30am
Café Clare:
Café Clare is our weekly coffee shop event, hosted at St Clare Hospice
(Hastingwood) every Friday morning from 10am – 12pm
Just like a regular high-street coffee shop, Café Clare offers a place to meet and connect with other local people in the beautiful setting of your local hospice.
