The hall is open on every Wednesday until April, from 11am till 2pm, offering a warm space, company, food and drink free to the Parish of Rettendon which includes the village of Rettendon, Rettendon Common area and Battlesbridge. There are games, books, jigsaws and crafts available.
The hall is available for hire at other times and is already used by the Rettendon Horticultural Society, Parish Council, dance classes, bowls and craft groups.
