Reach Out for Mental Health is an Essex-based charity offering free, confidential support for adults struggling with suicidal thoughts. We provide a listening service, telephone befriending, and local coffee groups—creating safe spaces to talk and connect.
Reach Out for Mental Health supports individuals who experience suicidal thoughts – however you do not have to be feeling suicidal in order to speak to
us.
We speak to many people who ARE NOT experiencing suicidal thoughts but still benefit from speaking to one of our volunteers.
Reach Out for Mental Health provides a safe, confidential and respectful space for you to talk to a trained volunteer befriender or trainee counsellor about anything which may be troubling you.
We offer: over the phone befriending support with trained volunteers, again all of whom have their own lived experience. We can also offer 12 weeks of
FREE counselling with a trainee counsellor. This can be conducted over the phone, online or face to face.
Reach Out for Mental Health are here Monday–Friday 11am–7pm for anyone who has suicidal feelings or anyone who feels that they are struggling with
their mental health.
