We are looking for volunteers to assist in the delivery of outdoor learning activities to schools, Special Educational Needs, community and youth groups at Waltham Abbey Gardens and beyond. Our Learning and Engagement department are based at Myddelton House but their programmes run throughout the 26 miles of Lee Valley Regional Park.
Activities this will include:
- Providing encouragement and support to predominately young people taking part in sessions/events
- Helping prepare, set up/take down equipment and resources for activities/ events.
- Providing extra adult supervision
- Supporting small group work as part of a larger session led by L&E staff.
- Assisting with formal and informal educational/community sessions and events
- Providing support to ensure Health and Safety and safeguarding policies are followed.
