All Saints Connect Café
A space to meet other people –Â don’t be on your own, come and make connections!
Connect Café is a weekly social gathering for people of all ages, every Thursday from 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm in the Church Centre (Hall or Paynter Room). Come with friends or to make new ones, and connect with others through conversation, crafts and cake.
Home Groups
We have several Home Groups, where people meet regularly in someone’s home in a friendly, caring and supportive group, to explore different aspects of the Christian faith and the Bible, and what this means for everyday living. The groups meet at different times on different days, so if you would like to join a Home Group please let us know which days or evenings you are free.
New Ventures
New Ventures is a club for the over 65s. We enjoy Sunday and weekday lunches once a month, and we book two holidays a year – in 2023 we are going away to Warner’s Cricket St Thomas, and to Clifton Park Hotel near Blackpool. We would love to hear from you if you are interested in joining us.
Women’s Fellowship
This very friendly group is open to all women of any faith or none, and there is always a warm welcome for newcomers. We meet from 2.30 pm to 4.00 pm on the second Thursday of each month (apart from August) in the Hall in the Church Centre. After a brief service we normally have an outside speaker to talk about their particular interest, followed by refreshments.
Tuesdays
Rev Sally invites you to join her for  ‘Start the week’ prayers in the church every Tuesday from 10.00 – 11.00 am including refreshments.
Wednesdays
At 10.00am in the church every Wednesday we have a said service of Holy Communion, or occasionally a said service of Morning Prayer.
During term time this is followed at 10.30am by a short service for Children in Church.
A variety of services are held on Sundays – please see the Weekly Sheet or the Monthly Calendar for details of upcoming services. Usually we only have hymns and songs at our 10.30am services.
Holy Communion, Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer services use Common Worship, except for 10.30am Holy Communion on a 5th Sunday when we use The Book of Common Prayer (1662).
Worship Together is a lively, more informal service, suitable for all ages including young children.
The Sunday Special Service is a service for all ages including young families and the young at heart. The worship is informal with modern songs, a Bible reading, prayers, talks and activities. Once a month we have a Holy Communion service. Children and young people are encouraged to be fully involved.
