Welcome to Affordable Counselling Epping Forest
Affordable Counselling Epping Forest is a charity set up in 2015 to provide affordable counselling for adults (18 and over) living within the boundaries of Epping Forest District Council .
We strive to keep our costs low, and our recommended donations are based on individual means.
Counselling is based on listening and helping people see their situation more clearly, enabling them to make better decisions in life. We aim to provide a safe, confidential space for us to explore issues and support you in discovering what is best for you.
We offer face to face, one to one, daytime sessions in Chigwell, Loughton, and Waltham Abbey, and afternoon/evening sessions in Epping. We offer up to 8 weekly sessions, lasting 50 minutes per session. The first session is an assessment where you and your counsellor will negotiate your work together.
Our counsellors are qualified up to at least diploma level or above and have many years of experience. They are members of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (www.bacp.co.uk) and are therefore bound by their Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions, and subject to its Professional Conduct Procedure.
