Maldon and District CVS, supported by Cadent, are working with the Dengie Food bank, churches and organisations in Southminster and across the Dengie peninsula to support people with access to essential supplies, services and support.
One of our project officers attends the weekly foodbank sessions in the United Reformed Church every Wednesday from 10am-12noon to provide advice on local services using the Maldon District Connects website and can also arrange referrals for fuel support or help from our community response project.
We are also working to extend the reach of the food bank by supporting the establishment of hubs across the Dengie for people to access support closer to home and will be holding pop up information events and warm hubs in different areas. Please see our events page for details.
