Together we inspire. Together we achieve. Together we are a community.
Disability4Sport offers Something4Everyone through our inclusive activities that promote a level playing field and positive experiences for disabled people.
Our aim is to engage individuals and families to #FeelAble to access healthy activities, to #GetReady to live an active life, and to #BePositive about connecting with the wider community. We work with local communities, schools, charities, local government and NHS to help everyone understand the challenges and barriers faced by disabled children and adults.
Our shareholders are the members and families that we support, and all profit goes back into the local community. We operate a circular system where money from affordable membership fees and Pay It Forward donations go towards our charitable programmes for those who usually cannot afford to Join The Team.
We have a variety of sessions/clubs for different ages, all the clubs are inclusive. Below are a list of the clubs we run:
Football Clubs – Colchester
Multi-sport Clubs – Colchester
Goalball Club – Colchester (this is a Paralympic sport for those with visually impairments, but can be played by anyone at grassroots level)
FA Football Para Talent Hub – Chelmsford (this is for ages 7-16yrs who have one of the following impairment- Cerebral Palsy, Visually Impairment, Amputee, Deaf. This is a centre for players which show real potential to go up the Elite football Pathway)
We also work with other organisations & schools and colleges to deliver sports to there groups. an example of this would be we go into Mencap and local primary school to deliver their enrichment sports sessions. for these types of sessions we can go all over Essex
